How dd i feel about the Eastle test?
I felt very confident to do it doing both the reading one and the maths one. I got them all done.
What goal do i have for this week?
My goal is to do good at math.

  This week was BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To day was so boring because i had production practice and all we did was do singing when i wanted to do some acting because i have been practicing hard.
what i did well this week was my olympic article and i finished it YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was ok because i had electives ( production ) and i was Mrs Teavee in the charlie and the chocolate factory. Oh yeah the production is called "the button box ".

The Future of Our Water

Where does Hastings District get there water from?

Water is primarily sourced from underground aquifers via 32 individual bores/wells, and two springs in the Waimarama area

What do people in our community use water for?

We use water for drinking, doing the dishes, the washing, showering, brushing teeth and cooking.

Tech 

Today we were at tech and we were learning about Energy, potential and kinetic energy and was doing this experiment and we had to make these little car things that we had to let drive down on this wooden ramp. Then we put some material on it then it went slower. Then we put some carpet on and the ramp and it went even slower. Then we recorded everything on this piece of paper and it was ok.

Then we watched this clip called 
and it had this really catchy song to it 

Kinetic and Potential Energy

A bolder rolling down a hill is called kinetic energy

And flicking a rubber band from your finger is what you call potential energy

I am at maths and it is very BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nucleation : is when you get something rough like raisins or mentos and drop it in coke or any other type of fizz and soda water does just as best.

Today we were at tech and talking about the coke and mentos experiment. We did the experiment the day before and It was fun doing it. If you want to see some people do it then go on you tube and type up what you see below.

Room 6 reflection

Today we were flying kites.It was really fun and someone i think was a year 8 made a kite and it went so so i mean so hign that when you looked at it it was almost a dot.     

What have i enjoyed so far this week

 i have been enjoying doing much my dangerous animals should not be killed speech.

The thing that i have put most effort into was my dangerous animals speech.

the one subject that i think i need to work on some more next week is my art because i have only been doing the back round and haven't been working on gluing the black paper on.

The thing that i would like to change at school is all the noise that heaps of people make in my class.

This week i did some maori art and what i did for it i did a stuffed bunny drawing. i think it looks pretty cool and stuff but the part that i think that will be hard is doing all the translation,reflection,rotation and something else i don't remember. So thats pretty much what i did this week since i was sick most of the week.

New technology for the term/ electronics

Today I started at electronics. We are going to be using the technology process to design and make an emergency light that I can read by

This week has been okay but good. Getting used to the class routine. Things going on okay as well as making new friends in the classroom. Maybe the thing that i need to work on is my maths. Next week i'm going to work harder on my maths and catch up with the rest of the group.

We have been creating 'Show not Tell 'or settings and this my favorite one...

Simran dropped on the couch she was happy to finally have a nap.But she was interrupted by a grumble in her tummy. She dragged herself from the couch and limped to the kitchen. She wanted to make a cheese, BBQ sauce and potato patty sandwich but the cheese was all the way over on the fridge shelf.

My time so far at HNI

My time so far is going really well.  I have made a few new friends i like my new classroom including my new teacher. I have learned a few new things like some new math strategies. The thing that i want to do this year is to make new friends so i am always open for new friends by my side. One thing that has not been so good that I want to change is my friends.  I am going to look for a few new friends.
